Shopflow Fall 2026 Updates

Online sign-up, a smarter time clock, and a lot of work under the hood

Published: October 7th, 2026

It's been a while since our last update, so here's what we've been working on. Most of this year went into the parts of Shopflow you don't see: making it more reliable and more secure. Along the way we added a handful of features shops asked for.

Sign up and manage your membership online

You can now pick a plan and sign up right from our pricing page.

Once you're a member, owners and admins have a new Billing page in Shopflow. It shows your plan, its status and your renewal date. Manage billing lets you update your card, see past invoices, or cancel, all through Stripe's secure billing portal. If a payment doesn't go through, or your annual membership is up for renewal, you'll see a banner in Shopflow with a link to take care of it.

Time clock and labor

  • Forgotten timers get closed for you. If someone leaves a timer running, Shopflow closes it overnight, flags it for review, and emails whoever reviews time.
  • Overlapping entries get cleaned up. When two entries overlap, Shopflow trims one, flags it for review, and leaves a note explaining what changed.
  • Reviewing time. A Needs Review count shows reviewers what needs a look. HR and Owner users can review time, run the Labor Report and open each person's time calendar without being admins.
  • Labor by job. A job's Time Entries section shows hours by person and by operation, and you can export them to a spreadsheet, notes included.
  • Report fixes. The Time Summary now includes Saturday, and the Labor Report counts the hours on its End Date.
  • Steadier time cards. Entries saved at the same moment always land on the right week's time card.

Attachments

  • Faster galleries. Previews are made in the background, and the gallery loads images as you scroll.
  • Less clutter. Logos and signature images from emails sent to a job are hidden automatically. One click shows them again.
  • Upload times. Work order attachments now show when they were uploaded.

Jobs, schedule and contacts

  • Dragging a job records the move. Moving a job to another stage on the board resets its days in stage and marks it started or complete when it lands in those stages, just like the Stage dropdown. Lead Times and Stage Stats count those moves again.
  • Reset Schedule is for admins. Only admins can reset the schedule, and Shopflow tells you how many jobs will move before you confirm.
  • What's Next shows logged hours. The Logged Hrs column, and the timer that lives in it, now fill in.
  • A new board filter. The Generic Location filter narrows the job board by any location field, and the Marina filter now finds marinas held in location fields too.
  • Creation dates now show on jobs and work orders.
  • Duplicate contact warning. Shopflow warns you before you save a contact that already exists, and contact search now shows email addresses and phone numbers.
  • You can now delete contacts you no longer need.

Comments and purchasing

  • Comments stay as written. Only the person who wrote a comment can edit it, and nobody can change when it was posted.
  • The Purchasing report is editable again. Admins and sales can update fields right on the report, and quick edits to two fields both save.

Under the hood

We moved more than half a million files, every photo, PDF and drawing you've uploaded, to Cloudflare's storage network. Your files are now stored redundantly instead of on a single server's disk.

We also did a security review of the whole app this fall and fixed the issues it turned up.

Questions?

If you have questions about any of this, or there's something you'd like to see in Shopflow, email me at [email protected].
